Modern resume template
Modern here means a confident left-aligned header, a heavy navy rule and coloured headings, not icons, photos or skill bars. It looks current on screen and still reads as plain structured text to an applicant tracking system.

- Skip skill-level bars and star ratings: parsers cannot read them and recruiters distrust them.
- Put a portfolio or GitHub link in the header; the modern layout gives it room.
- Quantify the first bullet of every job; it sits right under the eye-catching header.
