A resume is personal data. ResumeFlex is built so that we never hold yours.

What stays on your device

Everything you type into the builder, the template and spacing you choose, and any job ad you paste are saved in your browser's localStorage under keys starting with resumeflex:. That is how your resume is still there when you come back. It never leaves your device through the builder, the score or the PDF download; the PDF is produced by your own browser's print function.

When text is sent to a server

Only when you press one of the AI buttons ("Sharpen these bullets", "Draft a summary", "Get an AI review"). Then only the text that feature needs is sent to our server function, which passes it through Vercel AI Gateway to the language model and streams the answer back. We do not store the text or the answer, and we do not log resume content. Providers behind the gateway process the request under Vercel's terms, which do not permit training on it by default.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and does not collect what you type.

Accounts

There are none. No sign-up, no email collection, no database of users.

Delete your data

Press the button below to remove everything ResumeFlex has saved in this browser. You can also use "Start over" in the builder or clear your browser's site data.

Before deleting, you may want to use "Save a backup file" in step 4 of the builder.
